With soaring land costs, the goal of this project is to increase density of single family detached houses while providing plans that provide great living places at the costs of an apartment. Working with our planning department we can achieve the ideal number between 15-20 units per acre. This could be a perfect plan to market for a move down buyer, looking for smaller but high end architecture, or market to for a low income housing finding ways to save costs.
In order for these small footprints to feel open and live-able, we place a large focus on outdoor living off the living rooms and kitchens. Plan 1 uses a single car garage w/ an outdoor parking space that shares an outdoor dining/ flex space. Plan 2 focuses its outdoor space off the front yard. This plan utilizes a tandem outdoor parking layout w/ a storage room in lieu of a garage.
